Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) is a public university founded in 1990 in Barcelona, Spain. It is among the country’s leading universities placed in global rankings. UPF is home to over 12000 students from all over the world and offers 26 undergraduate, 32 master’s and 9 PhD programs.
UPF takes part in BROAD-ER through the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Immigration (GRITIM-UPF) at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, UPF. Among GRITIM-UPF’s research areas are border & human mobility, citizenship & diversity, and multilevel governance & politics. Related to this, GRITIM-UPF organizes seminars series, workshops, and several other activities and conferences, and publishes working paper series and policy series. It has received prestigious national and international grants (H2020, Erasmus+, EU-REC, MCIN funds etc.) and is a partner of international networks (Intercultural Cities, IMISCOE, Anna Lindh Foundation, Compendium of the Council of Europe).
